Question by capri: What does "low in calorie but high in energy" mean?
If a calorie is a unit of measurement of energy (i.e., the amount of energy in a food is measured in calories, the mass of my body is measured in kilograms), then how is a low calorie "food" high in energy?

these would be all natural sources of complex carbohydrates like lentils, whole oats, beans, etc. these foods are complex carbohydrates that are high in fiber and low GI but provide lasting energy for hours but are are low calorie per serving.
